A correction should be specific, visible, and proportional to the error.

Email corrections@siftandsignal.com with the story URL, the statement you believe is wrong, and the strongest primary source supporting the correction.
What happens next
We review the original material and the new evidence. When a substantive factual error is confirmed, the article is corrected and a note explains what changed. Minor spelling or formatting repairs may be made without a correction note when they do not alter meaning.
Disagreement is not automatically an error
Analysis and interpretation can be challenged without being factually false. We will still review good-faith objections and clarify language when it creates a misleading impression.
